This Beauty in Blue is our Redtail Model 7’1” x 22” x 2 3/4” The Redtail is a modern take on a transition era outline with a twin fin set up and channels to go along. With a more modern foil and bottom contouring, the Redtail feels stable and controlled on take-offs and bottom turns, generates tons of speed from the slightly forward sweet spot, but doesn’t require a ton of stepping around to find the right spot to turn it! For a 7’1” it’s amazingly loose at the end of cutbacks and hard turns, and almost makes you want to go for a snap here and there because of its responsiveness to whip around.
